Not very many!
I have been using HSBC's business internet banking since it was first introduced without too many problems, but on two occasions recently I have gone to pay a bill on a future date only to find that the payment hasn't gone through, even though other payments I made on the same day have. I am an experienced user of their system and I am 100% positive that I completed the procedure,although unfortunately because our printer is out of action I wasn't able to print the confirmation and therefore have no proof. On the first occasion, I accepted HSBC's conclusion that I failed to confirm the payment and paid the late payment and interest fee of £50+ on my credit card but exactly the same thing has happened this month and it has now cost me over £100. I was on the phone to their call centre for almost an hour last night with absolutely no joy whatsoever. I have been with this bank for 30 years and never missed a payment in my life! They have refused to do anything about it and I feel so strongly that I am planning to close my business and current accounts and move my mortgage too!!
