Great finish and overall fit of the gun.
Bad Points
Could use a rubber butt pad.
General Comments
Out of the box to the field for sighting in was not too hard. I bought the optional model with the RWS350 scope which is okay. I replaced the scope with a CenterPoint A/O 3-9-50 with red/green reticle. This scope is a added plus but having a hard time sighting in for a overall zero for a gammet of different loads.
The gun however like most springers was hard to cock at first but gets easier with time.
Not really much breaking in this rifle because it comes to you basically ready for action. I have fired some 400 shots through it so far and has performed well. Decent power but probably less than 1000 fps unless you use the PBA Gold which may get you those speeds.
I was told the best rounds for the rifle are Beeman Field Target Specials in 4.51 or 4.52 in .177 caliber which I have. Or, JSB Exact 8.4 gr. 4.52 or 4.53.
I will have to pick some up for testing.
Now back to sighting........more than likely it is me and being new to air guns. I shoot real guns for a living and am use to that facet but air gunning is a new world to me that takes all different techniques!
I would highly recommend the 34 which one can see that Germany has made a great product. I suggest getting the RWS cleaning kit too, makes life easier for you.
