I have never had any problems with delivery companies finding my address. But when a bridal company sent me a dress using Parcelforce 48, the drivers somehow managed to miss my house completely. They 'attempted' to deliver it twice, but each time they drove down my road, did a u-turn outside my house and drove off again. Two days after the delivery date, I rang the Parcelforce depot and spoke to a complete someone who told me it had been put in the 'Address unknown' bin and said he would go and look for it and call me back. After an hour, I got fed up and rang again. The same man told me they were still looking for it but couldn't find it. I asked if, once they had eventually found it, it would be delivered that day and was told that there was no chance of this and it would be the next day at the earliest. I explained that the dress had to be returned by the monday (this was friday morning). I rang the sender to inform them of Parcelforce losing the dress. They rang as well and then magically within 5 minutes they had found my dress and it would be with me by 2pm that day. Funny that. I will never recommend Parcelforce to anyone. Their customer service and their inability to read signs and house numbers is frightening.
