General Comments
Gilera Runner SP 50 is a brilliant and reliable scooter to have it dont eat through petrol and takes £6 to £7 to fill the tank which can take good over 100 miles, I t is a fast scooter aswell i have only had it deristricted and i can reach speeds of 70 MPH+. Ive had it for two years now and not once have i had to get the engine sorted cause it has not failed on me and the electric start is running well it starts first time every time ive dne something like 12,000 miles and all i can say it looks the nutz and it has no rival.

Sorry mate I think you are chatting rubbish about your reach 78 mph on a Gilera runner 50cc just by de-restricting it. My neighbour has got one he got it brand new in June and has got it fully de-restricted and he can only get about 60-65mph so I dont know where you got almost 80 from. another mate of mine has got a 125 vx and his just about does 80 so you are talking rubbish. SORRY.

I agree I think you are talkin rubbish, i have a Gilera runner 50 and it is fully de-restricted and it only reaches 55mph on a straight.I am considering putting a big bore kit in 70cc to hopefully reach speeds of up to 75-80mph.
<br>I will write back when I get my bore kit to let you know the speed. thanks brad from exeter
