very flexible seating, good visibility, good resell value.
Slightly bland interior. Access for back / rear seats can be awkward for adults.
Bought this Vauxhall Zafira 1.8 Comfort SE about 2 weeks ago and i can say that it is the most flexable car i have ever owned. The seating options leave it open for any purpose, like shopping, going to the tip, buying kitchen worktops, taking the family to the airport for holidays (with ALL their luggage!) the options are endless. Although on the downside, these 1.8 16v models have a rather annoying fault that the car will cut out or stall when the throttle housing get a bit dirty, and the only way to cure it costs around £350 pounds! this is a VERY common fault and becomes more apparent as the mileage clocks up (around 70000) and normally after 3 years, so most of us will be getting these problems it's just a matter of time. Also it can be very dangerous as the revs just die off when the clutch is depressed, like when pulling up at a roundabout or traffic lights. and when you think you can safely pull away the engine dies leaving you stranded in the middle of the road, and normally you can't restart until after the engine management system has done its diagnosotic process!
But after the throttle housing is replaced it's happy sailing again! thats until the second gear syncomesh starts to fail! but don't get me started on that!
