Bad Points

Paint on my 2 1/2 year old Vito is changing colour. It was once red but now the roof and bonnet are faded badly. I have been told by the dealer that this was due to a fault when it was painted at the factory. Have had three drivers side seat belts. I am having the same problem with the tyres wearing on the outside, 23000 miles and ready for my third set of front tyres. Engine management faults repaired on third attempt after being told it was fixed, it went faulty the same day. Side door badly out of alignment, dealer will not fix it as it is not a warranty repair, cannot hear a thing when driving on the motorway. They did adjust it twice but it ends up the same after less than a week. Rear brakes have been squealing since the day I collected it, dealer has fixed this four times!


General Comments

Nice van if it works. Don't give Mercedes your cash. The quality of their product has improved since a few years ago but it is still not good enough. This was the most expensive van I looked at and could have got a better built vehicle with another dealer for thousands less. I have wasted days of my working time driving the van to the other side of town to the dealer and sitting waiting for the repair or loading all of the materials/tools into the loan van and then back for my van ,unloading /loading.
