The exit door.
Not too many branches.
Car constantly breaking down.
Phones taking ages to answer.
Workshop not being open after 6 or at weekends - how inconvenient of us to beakdown on a Saturday!
My husband purchased a Ford Focus ST end of October from Carcraft, 2 weeks later it broke down, a major gear box/clutch problem.....had to wait until a week day to contact Carcraft workshop dept, car towed the following day. The Carcraft loan car left was in a worse state than our one that had been towed! Several phonecalls later (some 2 weeks after our car was towed) I had to send a fax threatening Watchdog mechanics coming to inspect the rubbish loan car and would like to know how our car was doing. Low and behold within 10 minutes of the fax we got a phonecall, our car was fixed and brought back the next day and the hire car collected. We requested our out of pocket expenses back ie. bus fares, telephone calls and road tax and insurance for the 2 weeks. Guess what...within 2 weeks again car engine management light came on....we had to wait until the Monday to report this and was asked to drive it to Lakeside some 25 miles away! Any small accident on the M25 would appear to be irrelevant if this was a major engine fault! And this could only be in a weeks time as they couldn't fit us in...no loan car this time so another gap without a car. My husband has refused to pay this months installment as it has been with Carcraft for 3 weeks since we have had it so far. They now want us to come and collect it at our expense as it is supposedly fixed. I would never ever buy a car from car craft again. All we have is a pile of rubbish and lots of expense for something we dont have.
