General Comments
I dont have a great deal of room available now I have purchased a widescreen TV so my old Marantz KI series had to go,I replaced it with a Denon UD-M31 and was astonished at the sound quality which improved even more when I purchased Alphason speaker stands. Playing a Pacific DVD Player through it is a real experience, the bass is deep & controlled and the imaging is truly excellent in my view a top notch product at an excellent price. One small niggle, when using headphones on the CD or DVD when they are not playing, i can hear a clicking sound about every 4 secs although it is at a very low level and does not occur through the speakers.Does anyone else who has purchased one of these experience this problem?? Some advice on suitable Speaker cable and a subwoofer would be helpful as Denon don't do one.

To add to the issue over speaker cable, I have now purchased Monster XP/nw cable and fitted Gold Plated Banana Plugs at the speaker end, this cable will just go into the spring clips at the Denon end.
<br> This has totally transformed the Clarity, Imaging & Base Weight of the system. I purchased the cable from Comet at £2.15/Mtr. In my opinion Money well spent.
