Good Points

Fairly easy to apply and does not drip.
Quality conditioner supplied for after dyeing.


Bad Points

Unpleasant burning sensation on my scalp; strong chemical smell; hair felt dry and stressed prior to applying the conditioner supplied.


General Comments

Since my reliable an very natural looking Hydrience Light Ash Brown disappeared from shelves in the UK I've been resorting to imports from the US. But having run out I thought I'd risk using the new formula Nice and Easy.

As I feared, it is nothing like as good. My natural hair colour is dark mouse with gray at the temples and sides, and my season is Summer. The Nice and Easy 114 colour doesn't look very natural though it did cover my gray bits, and it has more pinky and darker tones than the Hydrience - altogether less subtle and not salon quality. Alleged "multitones" invisible to my eye.

Have yet to see how long it lasts and how it fades. Hydrience's one drawback was fading towards blonde esp in the sun, but they do tell you to reapply every 6 weeks. It was worth it because the colour was always perfect and very natural before that happened.

BRING BACK HYDRIENCE LIGHT ASH BROWN PLEASE!!!!!!
