This is an update of an earlier review by "Click"... All the previous good points, plus extraordinarily good sound quality, with choices of DTS, Dolby 5.1 and 6.1 sound in addition to the usual stuff. Optical output, Co-axial digital output, 6 channel output, Scart, output to plasma screens, etc. Excellent.
Bad Points
All the previous, but also no standby button. A pain.
General Comments
Since the last review, I have added a Yamaha AV amplifier and a set of Eltax surround speakers. I was using a pair of Tannoy 607's as my main units and found I can add them to the existing system. What an experience! I have several friends who have all-in-one cinema packages ranging up to 600 quid - and this setup trounces the lot of them for less than 500 notes.
The picture is great, the sound is real cinema. The neighbours don't know if there is an earthquake or me watching U-571. By the way, no faults other than the ones listed above. Got to go now, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms. Where's my "Terminator 2" DVD.....
