General Comments

An American Werewolf in London is a classic, from the strange scary people in a pub called 'The Slaughtered Lamb' to London in a monkey cage. The horror starts when 2 americans are back-packing across the Yorkshire moors and are attacked by a werewolf, Jack gets ripped to shreds but david gets away thanks to some peculiar people in a strange pub, (The Slaughtered Lamb) with his life and some scratches. He is taken to London where he gets to find a girl and then realises something is wrong with his body. An excellent film and undoubtdly one of the best werewolf films. Funny and brilliant, An American Werewolf is far better then the sequel, An American Werewolf in Paris. If you have to get one, get the one in London, it's far better.

Yes, the special FX are a bit dated, but this was made in the mid eighties. The BEST werewolf film ever made. Full stop...

And seeing Jenny Aguter in the shower makes up for many short comings...
