Good Points

Although situated on the edge of the resort, the hotel is just over the road from the beach. The room are clean and comfortable and the entertainment of an acceptable standard. The Bingo prizes are well worth winning.


Bad Points

Too many chairs in the entertainment area (cinema fashion) making it difficult for a group of people to sit as a group. I am a smoker but I object that in at least half the room you can smoke freely. A long way from the town centre.


General Comments

In general the Beach Club Torremolinos was OK. We had holidayed there 2 years ago and had good memories of the hotel. The holiday was spoilt by 5 of the 7 in my group having a stomach bug that seemed to effect many other guests. We were disappointed with the staff reaction when we brought the problem to their attention. On more than one occasion we observed flies crawling on the salad items. In general the staff were friendly and helpful and the hot food was good with plenty of choice. We were shocked to see that in the street outside the hotel raw sewerage was coming into the street from the drains, the local council will have to sort this problem or put tourism at risk.
I suffer from MS and on holiday tend to hire a scooter to get me around, if your going shopping in Torremolinos don't bother hiring a scooter the bits of the shopping area that are supposed to be for the disabled are treacherous I was much safer walking on the bits that were not for disabled. This is a pity because it is a good shopping area. Every now and then the sloped areas stop for several yards before starting again so what are you supposed to do if say you are in a wheelchair?
