I have been with diamond for 2 years and haven't come across any problems as such, however in Nov 07 I was hit in the side by a moped that was driving down the path with no lights I didn't see them as I turned into a driveway.
Diamond have handed my case to albany assistance, at first I was told that the moped driver was insured with Norwich Union and that the quote for my repairs had been forwarded to them and as soon as they accepted I could get my vehicle sent to be repaired.
I heard nothing from them for a few weeks and called on Friday, they now tell me that Norwich Union are saying that they have no policy for the moped rider!
As a result as the moped driver was driving illegally,on the path and with no insurance etc,he gets away with everything and I have to pay the first £300 of the claim as he is uninsured!!
Why do us innocent people suffer this way,i dont find this fair at all,just what is the point in any of us even bothering to pay for car insurance?
