General Comments

Many thanks to everyone who took time to review the rifles on these pages. I purchased a Powerline 1000, similar to the Winchester 1000. I could not get an accurate shot group after playing with it for a week. The trigger was very stiff and gun was not balanced. I returned it for credit and was thinking about the Gamo 220 or 440 as a replacement. Since my investment was doubling in $, I came to this site for advice. After reading all of the positive reviews on the 94, I decided on it in lieu of the Gamo. Prices for the 94 ranged from $160 to $240 with Bass Pro and D&R being on the low end. Then I found demos at AGE for $120. They were very helpful and easy to do business with. Three days after I called them my 94 arrived. It was like new, doubled boxed and has the same warranty as a new one. The first twenty shots at 10m gave me 18 in the sweet spot with no adjustment. At 20m near the same. The rifle is much easier to cock, better balanced, and has a smooth trigger pull compared to the 1000. My only complaint is that the safety is to easy to push off. AGE says there's no adjustmet. My first impression with the 94 is that you guys are right on with recommending this rifle as a great $ value. Many thanks.
