Stayed here 18/12/07 to 01/01/08. This hotel no way merits it's 5 star status. The overall demeanour is tired and in need of upgrading. They say they pride themselves on the quality of service in the food and beverages department but this was frankly deplorable. Waiting times were extreme to say the least and orders, if they arrived at all, were often incomplete and of poor quality. On making a complaint about the service at reception I was told that all managers were too busy to see me. However, the number of complaints from residents both from the US and UK made for some interesting discussions on the beach!
Be aware that the Virgin Atlantic air crew also stay here and tend to take over beach, pool area, bar and anything else they can and are often quite rowdy.
