The food was not too bad!
Luggage lost
Tried to check in online. to no avail- used both the reference and passport number. Message informed me that "The minimal search found no reservations. Please try locating your reservation with the full search." Would like to know where a full search could be conducted, because the web page does not provide for a full search. Then, when I used the e-ticket number as reference, I received the following message: "Thank you for choosing online check-in. Because your trip has already begun, it is no longer possible to check in online (check-in is only possible from the first flight in your trip). Please go to a check-in counter at the airport." That was 30 hours before the check-in deadline as per the instructions on the website! Great to receive the news at such a late stage - with me in South Africa, and my child in Germany. Tried to contact Air France by choosing the "contact us" option - however the "page could not be found".
Will never, ever fly Air France again! I will obviously not recommend this airline to anyone. Definitely my worst ever experience.
