On time, food not too bad, customer service in South Africa (Afrikaans speaking lady!!!) excellent!
Not possible to book seats and check-in online. A definite NO!!!
I tried to check in online 30 hours before my child had to depart. Used passport number and reference numbers first - reservation could not be found. Advised me to do full search, which the web page does not provide for. Then I tried the e-ticket number, only to be informed: "Thank you for choosing online check-in. Because your trip has already begun, it is no longer possible to check in online (check-in is only possible from the first flight in your trip). Please go to a check-in counter at the airport.ind reservation". Great when you are in South Africa, and your child is in Germany.
I tried to contact the Air France office - but it was Saturday, so no one could assist me. Then I tried the "contact us" option, only to be informed that the page could not be found.
Will NEVER, EVER fly Air France again, and will advise everyone I know accordingly.
