Good Points

Very good fun, 4 player, unlockable characters and stages and lots of challenges. Very good graphics.


Bad Points

Slightly too easy challenges.


General Comments

Super Smash Bros. Melee is a masterpiece from Nintendo. Only for the gamecube and perhaps the only game you will need for the gamecube as it brilliantly entertaining and is one you can do over and over again. The game has developed much from it's previous version with many more unlockable characters, stages, and new weapons. There are different modes you can do, different single player ones are: Adventure, Classic, The Events (Challenges), and All Star (once you have unlocked it). Classic is where you do lots of fights and eventually fight the hand at the end. Adventure is lots of running and with fights along the way, things like getting across lava. All Star is where you have 3 full healths choose a character and have to do lots of fights to get to the end. The Events are a series of challenges like fights and doing things in time limits etc. - this is where you will unlock most of the things. Then there is training sort of things like smash the targets and hit the sandbag as far as you can with the baseball bat.
The multi-player is simply where you fight against yourselves or the computer, although you can do it single player. Super Smash Bros. Melee is very addictive and you can just keep doing it over and over again. Unquestionably a must have for Gamecube and a flawless game.
