Decent build, wood stock, powerful, easier to cock than Benjamin
Shrouded barrel design cheapens overall appearance
Got my Daisy Powerline 22x on the cheap at a local unclaimed freight company when the receiving company couldn't foot the shipping bill. Definitely worth the $60 I paid.
Wood stock is a nice touch and much better than the blow molded plastic. Of note, Daisy didn't tighten done the stock at the factory and I had to remove the butt plate to get to the internal bolt to tighten it down.
My last pump rifle was a Benjamin/Sheridan/Crosman that was nice but anything past 4 pumps required a call to the California governor to get a couple more pumps in. The Daisy never gets tiring to pump and you can easily get to 8. After that, anything that gets into the sights is pretty much dead meat.
Loading gate prefers wadcutters although you can cajole a pointed pellet in there every once in a while.
Pretty accurate for this class of air rifle. Not as accurate as the Benjamin even though the two are close in price range.
What would I change? Well, for starters, a metal bolt instead of the plastic one. It hasn't broken yet, but I know it will sometime in the future. Also, make the barrel a real barrel and not some sleeved gizmo. Makes it look cheap when it shouldn't be!
