Good Points
The coffee is great and it's easy to use. Yes, it's a bit expensive to run, but that's the point - you pay for the convenience. I particularly like the latte served in a glass mug as it does a really cool 3 layer thing with the milk and coffee. It's a nice talking point when you bring a cup out for your mates.
Bad Points
The tea is shocking very 'plasticly' taste to it. Imagine instant tea granules and then add some chemicals and that's something like how the tea tastes. This is a real shame as it seems to be just tea in the pod, so I'm not sure where that nasty taste comes from. I'd definitely steer clear of the tea. Hot chocolate is nice enough, but to get anything like a decent sized cup you need to use 2 pods and manually fill the mug yourself. Otherwise you get a tiny half a mug full and when you top it up it tastes too weak.
General Comments
I really like my Braun Tassimo machine yes it's flawed (Tea, cost of pods, size of Hot Chocolate) but if you like a proper tasting cup of coffee without having to scat about in your freezer for the ground coffee you put there last Christmas (come on admit it, we've all done it!) then you'll like it. The coffee is a bit of an acquired taste if you're only used to drinking instant as the taste is much stronger, but you soon get used to it and I won't drink anything else now.
It's quite noisy (the wife describes it as being like "roadworks") due to the "chigga-chigga-chigga-chigga" of the pump as it's filling the cup, but it only lasts for about 15 seconds so isn't too bad. Asda do the pods for 4 packs for 10, which is the cheapest I've seen, and they have quite a decent selection.
