Good Points

The EPOC OS is simply outstanding. Straight from the box you have enormous productivity and reliability too (Why can't PC's be like this?)
The keyboard is OK but I find the keys a little stiff and can be unresponsive, they dont seem as good as the original series 5.

I like the battery strategy used with the series 5, i.e. replaceable AA's. I find it gives greater freedom when out and about than you would get with a rechargable palmtop. If batteries are getting low just pop into any shop or carry a couple of spares in your pocket. Also you can add more memory (via Compact Flash cards) quite cheaply and there's loads of good software available to fill up those CF cards.

Bad Points

Only one bad point. The screen is very poor. I find I use the backlight when indoors which makes the screen quite clear but increases power consumption. When in sunshine, however, the screen is much better. If the REVO had replaceable batteries and an expansion slot I'd get one instead.

General Comments

If you've never seen a Psion PDA before then you'll be amazed. Don't think of it as an organizer, think of it as a PC in your pocket. I use my 5mx far more than my PC, even when at home. Instant On, no crashes, easy to use yet powerful applications.

Most of my friends have been amazed at what my little Psion can do. In summary, get one and you wont know how you ever managed without it. (or get an Ericsson MC218 as it is the same machine and much cheaper).
