Good Points

It's in Saas Fee. Seems fairly clean & modern.


Bad Points

Booked into a hotel called the Garni Gletscherblick (by the swiss travel centre) which doesn't exist, having been renamed quite a long time ago to the Alpenperle.

We had booked a twin room, but were given a single room with an additional kids bed in it! After more than a little discussion, they gave us a room in a nearby property called the Chalet des Alpes which was ok, if dark (north side, partially sunk into ground).

Minimal buffet breakfast, but decent quality.


General Comments

Yes, there is a restaurant and bar (Alp Hitta) just next to the hotel, but full of sad types that sit there smoking for hours on end. Hotel itself is more than a short walk into Saas Fee. A bus runs but is often full of skiers/snowboarders.
