Bad Points
Price. Ekornes Stressless recliners are quite an investment over and above compared to other cheaper brands which don't feature the patented features of the Ekornes Stressless. If you're shopping for a cheap inexpensive chair, this Ekornes Mayfair chair isn't the model for you.

General Comments
Features a patented glide system that moves with you as you recline. A patented lower back lumbar support is built into the chair offering pressure relief on sore backs. The base of the chair features a 360 degree swivel. The headrest of the chair adjusts to keep your head forward when watching TV or reading a book. Matching ottomans/footstools are often included with these chairs. Ekornes Stressless recliners are considered to be among the top recliners in the world. Currently sold in over 30 countries in most modern contemporary lifestyles furniture stores with over 1,000,000 Stressless recliners sold worldwide. Founded by Jens Ekornes in Norway back in the 1930's Ekornes has built a reputation for using the most advanced furniture building technologies. I found this review unhelpful because... it seemed to be saying more about the company and where it sold chairs than about the chair itself

This does sound like a plug for the company. My limited experience of stressless chairs make me feel they are very good if expensive but I would disregard this review

It is STRESS not STRESSLESS!
<br/>I found this review not helpful because...it talked about the company. I just bought two leather chairs; two different models and the customer service and QUALITY CONTROL stink!!! They ship a deflective chair from Norway $2600, total for both $4,000; we waited four months to receive it. The store we bought it from said they inspected it and we picked them up still in boxes. The store had a contractor (3rd party) look at the chair and yes the seat cushion is way off. They are only willing (at this point) to replace that chair. I bought them to color age together and since it will take another four months to make there is no guarantee the chairs will match. Manager from the store contacted the Ekornes sales rep for him to contact me, four days later and nothing. US need jobs, Norway is the third highest paying salaries in the world and the green print to ship from there to here is hugh. Very disappointed to say the least. I am still protected from my credit card company so if they don't replace both chairs I will be returning them and my credit card company will dispute the charges.
