This notebook came with 256 mb of ram, which everyone knows just doesn't cut it anymore so I went to see about getting additional RAM, but the 258mb, turns out to be non-removable, while the 512 and 1 gig are. Neither the dell website nor manuals tell you anything about this. I only discovered this when I took a look inside, and now I have a slow running laptop and there is nothing I can do about it. So before you buy any computers check the website ( www.crucial.com ). They'll give you the information you need to know.
