Good Points
Handles well, good brakes, 'feels' solid, VW underpinnings-Golf in disguise.
Bad Points
Door seals leak
Coil packs keep failing
Lack of power response in 1.6
Higher petrol consumption than expected
Uninterested dealers
Never 'feels' at ease cruising on long journeys - as if you're driving in 4th, not 'relaxed'
General Comments
Potential to be a terrific car (faults aside)I can see why people buy Golfs, as I bought this because I couldn't afford a similar spec/age Golf. If I could do away with the faults I'd go for a TDi.
