Light weight, compact, simple to use. Makes easy work of pulling it out to do quick repairs or alterations. Well built for its price. A good basic tool, especially for working with knits..
Bad Points
The manual is not helpful beyond identifying the parts, how to thread, change needles, etc. I have tried to figure out how to make hems, but even after purchasing a blind stitch pressure foot, I don't get it. A more complete manual and/or video would be nice.
General Comments
Have had mine 4 years and have had no mechanical problems. I love it for altering knitwear - my primary reason for buying it. If I ever learn to make flat hems, it will be perfect. I would recommend it.
