Great little camera with some excellent features and easy to use. However, I am very disapointed with treatment by Sony in connection with a camera not working and returned to them. Bought by me in Australia for Christmas present (end November 2006) and reported and returned for repair early December (about 7 days out of their warranty although still covered by The Sale of Goods Act). I have not seen the camera since but am assured it has not been misused/wet but they insist that it has water damage - want to charge me £30 to return it to throw away. I have bought 7 of these (very similar models) for family and presents for friends but will not be buying any more unless someone makes an attempt to compromise on this. I am assured that it has not been wrongly exposed to moisture.
