Good Points
Brilliant.. absolutely candid.. it's never meant to be taken seriously, yet somehow Bill's travel experiences seem so familiar.. I don't want travel fiction books to tell me exactly what I just read in my Lonely Planet or Tourism Board brochure.. I want to read abt criticism, bad points, what is being observed, - Jan Morris is quite good at that too.. coz when u travel to new place after new place, everything seems nice and flawless which is absolutely not true.. Criticism challenges u to think and makes u learn more abt a place, i.e. Milan may be a dump but u realise it's a dump of used Pradas and Guccis rather than the one u see in Naples!

Bad Points
Shame he didnt go to Prague, Budapest, Krakow or Berlin..
