General Comments

The biggest mistake I made was not to search for reviews on this retailer before ordering. Having ordered very easily, I was promised my treadmill the following day- at £50 cheaper then Argos and next day delivery - who could complain! It came to 2pm the next day and no treadmill. I gave Gym World a call. I held for 30 minutes, only to be told that the treadmill had not even been sent! I had specifically taken a day of work to receive it! My cards been charged, a refund promised over 2 weeks ago- still nothing and 450 pounds out of pocket!

Hi there. I work at Gymworld. This is not something that usually becomes an issue with our service and I'm quite mortified to read this here. We do occasionally have delivery delays as the volume of orders varies wildly from one day to the next. We also rely on couriers, like pretty much all other retail websites, and very occasionally they'll get something wrong. Either way we should have informed you and for that I can only apologise. Refunds can take up to 5 working days. That is not ideal but its the way banks work in the UK so, we're stuck with it unfortunately. 2 weeks is excessive, though, and that's not something I thought happened here. Rest assured it won't happen again.
