Great engine and looks. The driving position is good and the car has a good responsive feel even though it may be a bit tail happy in the wet you never feel it won't respond.
Interior trim could be a bit more upmarket for this type of car, after all it isn't exactly cheap at £30k.
Overall I love the BMW Z4 3.0si SE Coupe. It feels great to drive and having defected from Porsche Boxsters, it would definitely be my recommendation as an alternative to a Cayman/Boxster. Inside it is simple and feels retro, may not be appealing to everybody and if truth be told the inside feels inferior in terms of quality to an Audi TT.
The main selling point of this car for me is the 3.0 litre straight six, highly responsive and the sound with the sport button engaged is entertaining as long as there are no speed cameras around!
