Really cheap holiday and no real problems experienced
Some of the staff on the plane were a bit inconsiderate
It was our first booking with travelcity. We went on dec 9th 2006. as I was 4months pregnant at the time of travelling I had made some requests and they were dealt with. I was given an aisle seat and was seated at the front of the plane. I was obviously showing my pregnancy at the time and I have to admit some of the staff were not so helpful to the fact that I was pregnant. When they brought coffee and tea round I could not have any due to an allergy but when I asked for some juice or water they refused saying they were only giving coffee and tea when I stated I was pregnant though, they soon came up with some juice for me. I also had to sit awkwardly in order to hear the film as the headphones would only work if slightly placed in the jack. other than that I had no problems with travel city themselves they were very helpful and I had no problems with the hotel. I wouldn't suggest going if you are pregnant though, not because of travel city, but because some americans can be ignorant and some are happy to make you stand and wait for a bus or to watch a show. we have booked to go with travel city direct again.
