Challenging game.
Fun to Play
Relativly Cheap
Updates about every week.
Can be addicting.
Sometimes Jagex do not listen to the customer.
People under 13 years of age lie their age to play.
Runescape is a 3d Java based MMORPG. The game takes place in midievil times. You need to be at least 13 to play the game.
I think this game is very fun. It can be addicting sometimes, but mostly if you your family has a history addictions. The updates are mostly good, but every once in a while there is a dud.
Jagex is the company that owns Runescape. Sometimes they do not follow the basic rules of business: "The customer is always right." The recent update "Bounty Hunter" had made a lot of Runescapers very angry. This update took out "Pking", one of the most commonly done minigames. Over 100 thousand subscribers had canceled their accounts that day.
Also this game is a learning experience. It teaches you how to divide your time between work and play. In the game, to do most fun things, you need to be able to pay for it. Thus, in the game you work/skill for that money or supplies and you can do that fun thing.
Overall the game is very fun, great, and friendly, the only problems I have with it is that people under the age of 13 lie their age to play. Don't do it.
