Good Points

Toyota Yaris T2 has good torque and fuel economy.

Bad Points

The braking (see below).

General Comments

On my model, there is a braking problem. No initial progression on the brakes, then they engage and jerk you forward in the car. This is intermittent and do not know how brakes will work when applied.

   I found this review unhelpful because this is a review of a different Yaris - a T2 and not a 1.4 D4D TR

   I am glad to find that someone else has this brake problem!!! I have an 07 reg T3 special edition, bought June 07, which has caused me no end of near-misses, when the brakes do exactly what those on your T2 do. This is my 7th Yaris and I have never experienced anything like it before. My Toyota garage seem to have dismissed it and tell me that there is nothing wrong with the car. At least now I have the evidence that at least one other car is suffering the same condition! Thank you!
