Daisy 747 - Pneumatic one pump air pistol. Very accurate and easy to maintain. When it starts leaking air, simply cock it open and put a couple of drops of oil on the exposed "O-ring". Pump it back and forth a couple of times and you will not hear any air escaping. All of the internal mechanisms are made of metal and mesh properly. When you pull the bolt open to insert a pellet it is smooth and precise. You just drop the pellet into the breach and slowly push the bolt forward.
The handgrips are large and supporting. The handgrips allow you to take a firm hold and make an accurate shot one right after another.
The Daisy laser universal sight kit works perfectly for this model. It attaches to the barrel and has a switch you turn on the laser with your thumb.
Daisy 747 - Does not not have scope mounts, but your can get the
scope mount for the IZH-46M which will fit on the Daisy 747. If you would like a scope for the Daisy 747, just search on the internet for "Daisy 747 scope" and you will have some results.
The Daisy 747 is very nicely made, hefty, accurate air pistol. It is very easy to load pellets and the metal bolt pushes the pellet properly into the breach. If it does not and it jams, it is easy to dig out the pellet and put a new one in. It is pneumatic which means there is not any recoil and when loading you do not have to worry about an accidental discharge which would smash your finger. It is very quiet and accurate. You can actually watch the pellets shoot to the target. With the Daisy laser sight I can watch the pellets shoot through the beam of the laser and hit their target. The Daisy 747 never gets tired and you never have to adjust windage and elevation. It is dead accurate all of the time.
It performs better than my Daisy 901 air rifle and my Daisy 953 air rifle at 20 to 30 yards consistently. I do not know how this air pistol can be so accurate, but it is. I can shoot a playing card a 20 yards dead center with the laser, but cannot do that with the Daisy 901/953 with a scope. I have had this pistol for 6 years and it still works like when I first purchased it. It is a bit expensive, but it is quality and it lasts, and it is accurate and you can get a laser or a scope for it.
