The best book on Yoga is light on yoga BY B.K.S.IYENGAR. Yehudi Menuhin has written a forward for the same.The book gives illustrations and also cycles of asanas for particular ailments and problems. (this opinion was conveyed to me by a professor at Kerala University. I haven't asked his permission thats why I cant reveal his name here.)
