Good Points

Nice solid appearance, robust pan supports.


Bad Points

We had to purchase an additional oven shelf from Smeg, as it was only supplied with one, which was a bit cheeky given the price. The fan is very noisy; the markings around the cooker controls washed off after a few weeks of (very careful) cleaning, which is infuriating as we have needed to consult the manual almost every time we have used the oven, as the settings are so needlessly complex. Now the fan element has blown for the second time this year.


General Comments

When we bought this cooker, we genuinely believed that we were making a wise decision by paying a bit more for a "good" brand. It has been a complete disappointment, and I would certainly never buy another Smeg appliance after this experience. The fan element giving out AGAIN on Xmas eve was the final straw, and we are cutting our losses, taking it to the dump & replacing it with a cheap gas cooker.
