Absolutely gorgeous to look at! No other 35mm SLR camera ever made has higher build quality! Controls are perfectly placed. Full manual control of everything is possible. Matrix metering with nearly all Nikon lenses.
Pretty heavy, but that is the sign of quality. Almost total reliance on batteries.
This may be the greatest all-around 35mm SLR camera in history! I still get gasps and aahhs when I whip (well "lift" actually because it IS hefty!) this baby out of my camera bag! People don't believe me when I say the camera's design is 20-years old! I love it and will NEVER part with it! No digital for me!
