Good Points

The Patterdale Terrier is a great companion, but when it comes down to work time this breed of dog will not let you down.

Bad Points

For me there are no bad points for this breed. I have owned many, but this is the one for me.

General Comments

Do not have the Patterdale Terrier in your house. You will spoil him! Please leave him for the working man.

    I found this review unhelpful because...It would be useful to know WHY this person believes having a Patterdale in your home as a pet would 'spoil' the dog. In what way ? I am prepared to consider that this point of view may be correct, but not without at least one good piece of credible information to support it. I am interested in having one of these dogs in the Future but want as much good info as possible in order to make the right decision. Can these dogs -with the right training-not be good as a working dog AND as a pet?

    I don't believe that you will spoil a dog by having it inside. These dogs are very clever and adaptable had no problems with my dog good house dog and good worker.
