Good Points

Powerful, especially with PBA ammo.

Bad Points

Too heavy, bad scope, and inaccurate. Waste of money.

General Comments

You'd be better off with a single shot .22 with .22 short, sub-sonic rounds. The result is a lighter weapon, much more accurate, and much quieter, also, not quite as powerful, and the combination of more accurate and a bit less powerful equals less dangerous.

    A .22 short has LESS power than this gun? Even the lowly CCI .22 CB short has 32 ft-lbs of energy at the muzzle, which is over twice what the Big Cat produces. And with it's 29gr bullet travelling at about 700fps, you can bet that the CB short will carry its energy a much longer distance than the typical 7-8gr diablo pellet, making it far more dangerous.

    It makes no sense to suppose that the lower velocity equals lower power. A 230gr .45 ACP might very well have a lower muzzle velocity as well, but that means nothing.
