Good Points


They used to be quite good and I used to be happy with them but have gone downhill lately. Perhaps new management or too many customers.


Bad Points

Amazon tried to make out there was a problem delivering to my address to which they have been sending dvds for a year now. The excuse was rubbish as i collect my post from our local sorting office and my friend there who sorts my mail confirmed no DVDs had come from Amazon. When I explained this to Amazon they then put it down to the od sytanby chestnut of a glitch on their computer system.


General Comments

Looks like Amazon are making excuses to cover off not having enough of the popular DVDs I ordered over Christmas. I have seen other delaying tactics by other DVD rental cos but this is a new one. Not sending DVDs then saying problems with delivery is vague enough to work on most people. How many other people are being fobbed off this way?

They are quick enough at taking subscriptions. They never sent me an email re the "Problem" either to delay things further. Took me 40 minutes on the phone to get a refund for the month they sent mer nothing. Obviously have cancelled my DVD subscription and will think twice re buying books from them from now on.
