Food, staff, entertainment...
Having to go through Dubai EVERY time!
I travel alot for work and after trying all airlines from Virgin (close second) to BA, Emirates is my airline of choice - even if it means i have to wait around in Dubai for a few hours wherever i go....it is well worth it! I have managed to get up to Skywards Gold and feel that the airline has valued my custom. Having flown with BA for the same number of flights, i was still on blue and with awful customer service AND food - I ditched them for Emirates.
The fleet has on the whole been upgraded (bar some flights within Africa and South East Asia) making for a comfortable journey. If you haven't yet - give them a go.
