AS an overall whole the sword is well balanced and well made when sharpened it is both practical and useful as a weapon of defenses and offense.
Bad Points
The few bad points are the lack of a decent spring in the lock.
General Comments
As a whole the complete set of 3 ( tanto ninja and katana) are well worth the investment having 15 years of sword fighting experience in mock combat as well as being trained in Koga-ryu form of shinobi. As an overall whole the sword was well worth the investment
