Good Points

2003 Excellent friendly staff and apartments were spotless gorgeous beach 2 mins away. we went in october and it was lovely and quiet no rowdy groups.


Bad Points

food in pool bar wasnt great and not a great choice for small toddlers and it wasnt very cheap either. There was no other English in the apartments when we were there and even the kids rep spoke in German first then in English.


General Comments

Ivory playa apts. are spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly the maid even left sweets for the baby! The pool area is also spotless and lovely and a full time life guard is on duty all day. The entertainment wasnt fantastic but was okay but maybe that was because we went in low season. The beach only 2 mins walk and was fantastic no hills or steps to climb and perfect for buggies as the water is only a stones throw from the edge of the beach. The water was very shallow and to get out of your depth you had to go way way out which is great for the kids. Alcudia resort is a good 20 mins walk with a buggy along a busy main road or you can walk along the beach but are pushing buggies through sand most of the way which can be tiresome. The resort itself is okay with plenty of shops and restaurants but like all resorts all the shops sell the same stuff. Las Gaviotas is only a 5 min walk from apts.(turn left instead of right) and has quite a few restaurants and shops with a duty free perfume shop etc. Would recommend Smiths bar for food and drink for both quality and price. All in all great relaxing holiday and would consider going back.
