Inability to comply with my wishes. Requested Egg to stop paying one of my bills as I had a dispute with them, and can you imagine my annoyance when after a few more months had gone by, my card was still being debited.
On a further follow up phone call, I was told that what I had demanded could not be done ( !!) and that I should let the disputes team take over the situation.
This also proved to be unsatisfactory. When a purchase /transaction is made by phone/ internet, what is there to stop the third party from redebiting again the following month / anniversary ?
when a transaction is made, it should be made plain as to whether or not a repeat could be made in the future.
I wasn't impressed when Egg where telling me we cant stop paying even if you want us to, just how out of control is the system here !!!
