EVERYTHING says eMachines, i hate that
General Comments
I bought this eMachines Model W2785 computer at Wal-Mart, not that bad of a price. So I bought it, to try it out. My first thing to say to you is about the Modem, the modem is CAPABLE of getting 56kbps, but it will also go at speeds slower than what it says, and I'm telling you it will go extremely slow, so I went out and bought a new Modem to replace it, so now it isnt that bad. The graphics card was a 32MB which I decided wasnt good enough for a gamer like me so I went back to Wal-Mart and bought a new 256MB (very beasty). The computer comes with a 17 inch monitor (not a flat-screen), it also comes with 2 speakers, that you can't plug head-phones in (you have to connect it to the tower, and then sound still comes out of the speakers) it comes with a key-board that isnt that bad has volume functions, calculator, sleep, cut , internet , e-mail, etc. etc. The system specs that bad
-512MB RAM
-AMD Athlon XP 2700 Processor
-32MB display card(I believe this is what it is)
-80GB memory
It also comes with a network card. You can use that for Network Play. It also comes with a
-16x DVD drive
-16x DVD-R drive
-and a floppy drive
It also has 2 open slots for whatever you choose to put in. Also everything says eMachines, which is rather irritating, but you get to live with it. Out of the box eMachines, is for budget tight people, but for those who like to Mod computers, maybe this could be an experiment
On average, people found this review very helpful
