realistic feel, bb repeater, good price, powerful
little bit clumsy magazine loading,
well, not sure about the 101, mine is the Anics A 101m, which i think differs slightly in having the longer barrel because of the weight compensator, and i think its slightly more powerful. One of a dozen or so co2 pistols i have, was immediately impressed by its feel and realism. On loading the first co2 cylinder i was concerned about the loss of co2, but soon found that if one carefully tightens up the co2 screw on the bottom of the pistols handgrip until its firm, and then with one full twist or so, engage the co2 capsule for minimal loss, was also slightly concerened about the quality of the thread, take care not to cross thread the screw, i didnt do it, but could see how it could easily happen, its far too a fine thread.I tend not to use copper bb's, instead i stick to the gamo lead bb's, probably just preference, but certainly lead is less likely to damage the rifling, just make sure you clean the barrel reasonably often.Once the two fully loaded magazines were ready, i went into the garden, shooting at a deflated football, which was around 20 - 25ft away. Was surprised by the loud noise of the 101m, but was also surprised by the power.Contrary to most co2 quotes of getting 50 to 60 shots , i found acceptably powerful between 30 - 40, sure they will do more, but one can detect the power fall off. Typically the 101m does around the same shots. Good gun this, not a target pistol, but in the right hands acceptably accurate and fast , occasionally misfiring, but never twice in succession.
