General Comments

It's now the 20th December, and I am about to do my last bit of Christmas shopping, and I find that Jessops have taken £100 out of my bank for an order I cancelled over two weeks previous.
I ordered on the 2nd of December but was informed after ordering that it might not arrive before Christmas, so I went and bought one from Currys for £10 more, but at least I had it in my hand. I went on the Jessops website to cancel and found that unlike most websites that allow you to click on 'cancel' and you cancel it yourself, you need to email them from their site. I did this on the 7th December. They say they didn't receive it, and Customer Services were very unfriendly and unhelpful. I work in IT; I know how to complete a form on a web page, and I know when it has sent correctly. No apologies, no "I'll check this out".

Anyway, I am refusing the delivery. It's lucky I have savings to buy the presents, as it could easily have caused a major problem for another person. I certainly won't be shopping at Jessops again. Jacobs and even Currys provide a better service. Merry Christmas all.
