Gripping, tender and thrilling account of a spitfire pilot in the Battle of Britain

The book is an account of a young pilots training and operational experiences before and during the Battle of Britain.
Written as a serious of episodes rather than a continuous narrative this book takes the reader through training, thrilling and nerve racking dog-fights, terrifying accounts of navigation in bad weather, the stress of constant pressure and compassionate accounts of and reactions to the death of colleagues and enemies.
An account that will move the reader and make his hair stand on end at the same time.
