Costa Teguise, Aparthotel Puerto Tahiche Review

Puerto Tahiche has very friendly professional staff who are always there on hand and very helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily, with new towels toilet rolls and soap supplied, There was plenty of sunbeds around and plenty of space to use them the swimming pools of which there are 3 were never over crowded. All children behaved well and there were no drunken yobs or party goers to spoil the peace and quiet and splender of the hotel surroundings. Loads of resturants quiet bars within one minute walking distance of the hotel any noise from these bars if there is/was any could not be heard from the hotel, never had a sleepless night if we did it was our own fault for drinking too much sangria.

Gatwick Airport, baggage weight, check the names on your tickets at the check in desk as we got to Lanzarote and found that we had someone elses tickets. Baggage staff due to health and safety cannot lift more than 30kg so if your bag is over that weight expect to be told to split your luggage, we had to find another bag for 7kg at 5am in the morning. If going for a drink do so at the local bars as the drinks within the hotel ground are expensive incomparison.

Excellent hotel, friendly staff, food was always hot, so much for the kids to do, had a brilliant time, we hired a car for 4 days and took off to see all of the Island and it was fantastic, the weather was brilliant, only had one day that was overcast other than that it was very hot, plenty of shops to see around Costa Teguise, pools were lovely plenty of sunbeds to go around, it is a quiet family orintated the kids are all well looked after by the reps so that the parents can go off and do there own things. We never saw no cochroaches at all so what people were going on about i don't know, our appartment was very clean and tidy, everyday the cleaners were in, the hotel was excellent, as for what some people have said on here all i can say is that we had a excellent time, no complaints at all, we were well looked after, kept informed of what events were going on, We will be definately be going again next year, We also went on the excursions and we must say don't miss the oscars and the catamaran cruise it was brilliant. We were going to fire mountain but got so well you know that we slept in and missed it. Don't foget the car hire around 16 euro a day for a small car to 43 euro a day for a Volkeswagon Golf convertible full insurance cover cars were clean well maintained a must if your there to see the Island, visit Papagya beaches near Playa Blanca you have the choice of 7 different bays also Haria and Famara Beach and town this can be viewed from the viewing point of Mirador del rio at a cost of 2.5 euro. The view is outstanding don't forget the camera, and while up that way visit Cueva de los Verdes and the los Jameos del Agua caves. Lastly get into the local towns and villages park up have a beer and some tapas food with the locals it's brilliant. Have fun and good luck on your trip. WE DID. Lanzarote is value for money.
