Good Points

-MP3 as ringtones

Bad Points

-No memofunction
-Recording radio not on 64MB memory so very short

General Comments

The Nokia 3300 is a great mobile phone. The sound is good and it's really usefull as a phone AND a MP3-man. Unfortunately the phone isn't that what it could've been. With the records button very prominent on the phone, you'd expect it to be able to record voice memo's or songs of the radio, but for a voice memo you'd have to connect a microphone to it and the redia is being recorded onto the phone-memory, not the 64MB extra memory. Thus making the recording very short. Don't get me wrong, I like this phone, but it's a shame it's not all that worked out.

I don't know which version (uk/usa) you have, but mine records the radio directly onto the mmc card.

all radio files (aac) and audio (via audio input) are actually recorded onto the mmc card just as mp3 files. you can also transfer nokia games from pc to mmc, then install applications from the mmc card to the phone in order to play them. you cannot transfer files from the internal memory to the mmc except backup/restore files which are just your contacts, calendar and text messages. images can only be sent/recieved via multi-media messaging and only downloaded to the internal memory via wap/gprs. you can download images via data cable to the mmc card, but your galary will not allow you to access the mmc card. it's a strange and frustrating software.
